Default Nautic star vs frontier

My brother is in the market and is looking. These 2 boats are pretty close in price range for 18' wit a 90hp. He doesn't want anything big just something he can bring the kids. What boat would be the best I'm not familiar with either.

Both are nice, personally I would lean towards the Frontier.

frontier would most likely be the fastest out of the two and being that the boat is only 18ft, he's probably not going to be trying to get into anything rough. If he is considering ride then I would think the nautic star, but I could definitely be wrong. The frontiers are very nice, and hear nothing but good things. Never rode in one personally, but I would lean toward the frontier also

I have a 140 on a 20ft. I love it and very fuel efficient. I have heard nothing but good things from owners.

I have been in several nautic stars and did not like any of them. I find they are very wet boats. For the price i would go with the frontier. hell I dont know of any boat Bill has ever designed that was not a good boat.

What about holding water? Heard something about drains being below the water and therefore the deck holds water?

Same crappy design they did with my Blue Wave. I just plug mine. Never need it because he designs dry boats.

Does the Frontier have jump seats in the back? I can't remember. Im looking at these two boats too but in the 19 ft and I think I remember the nautic star being a little better for family (jump seats and storage). You probably can't go wrong with either of these boats tho.

Check out the nauticstar 2110 se it has 3 jump seats on the back and tons of storage. It has 2 compartments front center insulated fish box/storage along with rod locker on the side. And cast net bucket storage in the floor

I run the Nautic Star 2110 and its a dry ride . The front deck is smaller than the Frontier ,but other than that I dont think you can go wrong with either one. Price would be the deciding factor on this one for me .

I have the Suzuki 140hp on a Bluewave and like it....thinking of selling it and I am looking at the Nautic Star and like the storage. I haven't looked at the Frontier yet.
