Every time someone mentions Lake Martin, I have Kingfish flashbacks.

I've never winter fished bass in chicot, but I bet it would be exciting! Pitching a jig to EVERYTHING!! The thought gives me chills! Love it!

I fished Chicot from 9am to 2pm yesterday. It was not exciting. I pitched jigs and creature baits, drug lizards and a variety of worms, threw senkos, squarebills, cranks, redeyes shads, spinnerbaits, paddletail swimbaits, ect. Not even one bite. Water temp was 52 deg. , high and muddy. Not chocolate milk muddy, but not the usual stained water. Trying to figure out where to go this weekend.
