I have a hyperlift hull on my X-54, and yes the ride is good. Im not boat shopping I am searching for information. H-51's also have hyperlift hulls so the x doesn't denote hyperlift.

I know that on newer Xpress boats the H- model has rod boxes that run along the passenger side of boat and on X-model the rod boxes are located in front deck..... I personal like layout of X-models

I've tried the "world wide web" and cant find anything. Most of the time you can get better answers from real people in these forums anyway. Good look finding anything on aluma-weld boats (they were xpress before they changed their name to xpress) on the web. All i can find on aluma-weld is some kind of yankee walleye boats. I also cant find anything on my x54.

I googled the boat and it showed a PIC. From looking at the design of the hull it looks to have the hyperlift hull. The HD has the ribs on the bottom of the hull that run the lenght of the boat. In turn, the HD is more of a jon boat design. The hyper lift hull if usually thicker alumn and has more of a V. Pic is looking at the back of the boat. BTW, I have the X22.

All that the X or H means is package, just like another manufacture has several packages with different layouts..... they make the HD hulls also which is more of a marsh boat hull and it also has different layout options. From what I have seen in looking at these boats the X model tends to be alittle nicer boat with better layout.

This is about all i can donate, I had an H-51 hull(this was a hyperlift) and i have an X-70 currently(this is an Xcalibur hull). I think now they pretty much call them all hyperlift hulls or HD hulls(ribs underneath).
