Cheers Back from London

almost

well im sitting at dulles right now waiting on my connection to NOLA, i went into the city today and was so worn out i came back here to rest lol.

I had a blast in london and saw so much in the short time i was there.\

Thursday i arrived and we walked around and found a few things and checked out where my gf stays and all that jazz

Friday I slept in a little but we got to do the london eye, tate modern, St. Pauls---awesome--- walked the whole south bank and went to see parliment and big ben.
Friday night, went out to eat and hit the sack

Saturday Again overslept, but still made kensington palace and all that area and saw some really cool things in different parts of the city

Sunday went to see the changing of the mounted guards, and then the changing of the guards at buckingham, then went to westminister abby, and then over to Greenwich to the University of Greenwich, Royal naval college and museum then made the trek up to the royal observatory and saw the prime merridian and stuff. sooooo worth it. Went to Picadilly and oxford circus to eat.

also went to places like harrods, old bond street and explored small back roads

Overall impression is that i like london, just the people are rude

Tube system is amazing and i love the rail system that that country has set up. US should follow them

Thanks for all the advise from everyone

Glad you had a good time. I agree with the people, although for me they were either extremely rude,or they were the other...extremely nice.

Did you make it to the armament museum at the Tower of London?...that place was bad azz.

Sounds like you made the most of your time. Did you really think the people were rude? I thought that as cities go, London had to be the most friendly I've ever been in. Now if you want rude, I'd say Paris edges out NYC, but Philadelphia beats them all. I'd say the most friendly country I've ever been to has to be Ireland.
