3 guys only shot 5 birds, 1 mottled, 2 mallards, spoonie and teal. My dog just keeps impressing me on these hunts considering the trainer said not to expect much out of him and not getting any birds to help support the last year of training I've been doing with him. This was his first year to hunt and he was making 75 yard retrieves in freezing weather and wanting more...get'em drake. Glad I bought him the neoprene vest that my wife said he'd never need in louisiana. Gonna have to bring the camera to the blind tomorrow could have got some good pics.

dogs energy is real good gerald we just haven't shot enough ducks to really work him out just not seeing the birds
