Too many rumors right now. I've heard anywhere from 0 to 100's to 1000's.

If I were closer I would.

If I didn't have a cold, I would be looking.
I need to make a run before the water goes back up. Maybe tomorrow afternoon.
I have to go to Cameron in the morning to get some free, shucked oysters.

There are not many hard heads in Big Lake due to the salinity.
Last 2 times we fished, we fished with raw shrimp for Redfish.
We caught no hard heads. That was a miracle.

Out look at worst........If you would even have a 1000 dead trout.......this is not a big deal!!! On any given day of good fishing ...... 15 guide boats with 60 trout limit=900 trout...plus your other fisherman........Just about everyday your taking 1000 trout off the lake!!! Over the last few weeks not many trout have been caught due to freshwater and cold weather!!! So worst case 1000 trout.........yes its a waist but not a disaster...

Sounds like what I've heard. So your source said Comm. Point and mine saw some dead in West Cove, but not too many, and it looked like mostly redfish.
