Anyone notice the trout bite here lately? Maybe its me but the last two days I have gone have been real tough. Maybe I lost my touch.lol I dont know what the hell is going on. Two days in a row. Not good.

I've had a couple of really nice trips lately, BUT, I've had to change my technique up a bit. Fishing flats right by drop offs for one and working soft plastics with 1/8 or 1/4 heads really slow off the bottom. Let it sit on the bottom a second or two before giving it any action, you'll feel the hit on the fall.

same here castaway, i went saturday afternoon. worked hard for several hours and caught nothing...then caught 8 in 30 minutes north of the old jetties. clouds/thunder/lightning chased me off the water. i'm pretty discouraged...but not so discouraged that i'm not going back after them friday or saturday!

I know in Dularge area around this time is when the trout usually go into transition. Coming from the offshore into the bays and lakes. Makes it tough to catch consistantly in the same places.

The trout are definately on the move. I have been hearing alot of folks are catching fish on the north end of big lake. Turners is supposed to be heating up when it's not windy.
