Default grand isle 6-3 / 6-4-11

had a great time this passed weekend puttin the hamma down on sone trout ! friday we caught our fish on sparkle beetles and live shrimp. we fished that morning till about 2 that afternoon ! {pic 1 } saturday we went right back to where left off friday! cast after cast with sparkle beetles, after about 20 min of catching 10-14in trout we decided to try for some better trout with crazy croakers and corkys ! we fished on without a bite for about 100 yrds then out of no where the 15-18in trout started biting ! around 9 am the bite slowed so we headed back to the camp to claen fish ! {pic 2-3 } later that afternoon during dinner we decided to hit the surf before sunset ! we got in the water about 45 before sunset. 3 of us tossing topwater landed 6 trout with one going @ 4 lbs. we missing a few the net and had a few blow ups ! {pic 4} we had a great time with good friends ! thanks to meaux and speckdaddy and his crew for a grand isle trout smack down !
