Default Kayak Launching Points

Hey guys, last year I went kayak fishing for the first time last spring with a friend and quickly thereafter bought a kayak. After that I went with my friend and launched roadside in Fourchon and fished the marshes a few times and ha a blast. Problem is, Fourchon is two hours away. Just wondering if anybody knows of any places writhing a half hour or so of Metairie/New Orleans where I could park, launch my kayak, and fish close by. Any fish is fine by me and I'm fine with both freshwater and saltwater, I really just want to fish more. Any help is greatly appreciated.

P.S. I'm not asking for anyone to give up there "secret spots." Really if I just need to get a boat in the marsh and go from there.

I fish east of new orleans just about every weekend, I fish Irish bayou, bayou savage nwr, rigolets, I'm also planning on fishing the northshore area by hwy 11 in my yak for some trophy trout for the when the STAR starts. I'm taking a ccw course saturday so I won't be fishing this weekend or next but I'm be fishing, I'll message you next time I go.

Thanks for those suggestions. Irish bayou looks like it has some good broken marsh for redfish.
