I hear you, but I'd hate to go out there (1 hr drive) to not find any decent water or fish.

me too...conditions wont be perfect, but the fish should still be in the area. Fish slow with 1/8 oz jig heads. I dont think its gonna be easy limits but I havent hit the water in a long time, so Im going.

For big lake 1/8 oz is good in the winter. For some reason I always did the opposite in VB. 3/8 oz jighead with a black/char paddle tail dragging it slow on the bottom.

I agree with montauk , 3/8 is the ticket, 1/8 does not hold the bait on the bottom as well and the bites are harder to detect

Idk I love my 1/8th in V.Bay.. I've been fishing with 1/8th since September, that and a sand eel jr is like crack to those trout. I'll use 1/4 if I'm throwing anything with a paddle tail though.

Are you "Meauxjeaux" on Tigerdroppings? I've been banned on there for a while now.
