I never fish cut mullet...though I've been curious about it. I've always worried about catching trash fish with cut bait....

I like it, usually, you find if they are not hitting shrimp, they are hitting mullet. Always best to have options.

I very seldom use shrimp, when I get a bite on cut mullet it's usually a red and if I am fishing it under a cork I can throw it all day and it stays on the hook.

You know this man can catch fish in the ditch on the side of his house. I've seen him in action... He can coax a fish to bite!
