Default calcasieu river help

Well im about to make my first trip to the river in the next week or so. Ive been lookin on google maps and have found a few places I would like to try but have no experience with the area or if im allowed to fish them. Whether it be private or just shallow/unaccessible. I took a few s reenshots from my phone hopefully someone can give me some input on this. As well as best place to launch. White oak, i-10 or McDonald launch. Mainly its just the little canals/creeks whatever you want to call them off of the main river. The plan is to tjrow some lures early then maybe finish day with some crickets for bluegill

The first picture is a cut right past the saltwater barrier im wondering since it has that opening in the back if a boat can make it in there and is it private?
Second picture is by 171 bridge there are two more canal by it I would also like to know if these are private or accessible?
Third picture is right before the west fork there is a canal on the left and right. I would also like to know if these are private or accesible?
Sorry for all the questions but in MS we dont have to worry about the private property situation

First one u can fish that opening but I know that marsh behind it is leased up. U can fish the cuts in second pic. Third pic is gulf states ditch and you can fish that also but off it is the leased marsh. Careful running in the ditch. If you get out a little there are stumps under water. Also you can catch bass and reds all up there.

What topdawg said. Don't get discouraged.. rover is tough fishing... I took 2nd tonight in the weekly tour with 6.88 only because of a 4 lb kicker which rarely happens. Crawworms, trick worms, cranks, and topwater.

South of the intracoastal south of gibstown bridge. I would post a map but my top button on my phone doesn't work. Maybe someone could help you out with this. You may even want to see if you can hook up with someone on here that is familiar with the burns to ride along with you. Hate for you to go get lost or stuck out there. Canals should be good though and fish the canals to start. And also you have to get a permit to fish the burns.

We caught a good bit at the levee around may 20th they were on the smaller end, but full full. Caught probably 4 dozen.. we are catching reds on Westfork already so I'm sure they are there.
