I was hoping to see some crazy story and a Photoshop picture of a great white with someone on the back claiming it was caught from a helicopter.

You laugh but I have slaughtered the redfish out there when there is a bunch of water coming down the Vermilion. There are 3 or 4 spots that are money when the waters high and moving. I would probably go if I wouldn't have to launch in Gueydan to get there.

Last year we tore crabs up at hog island between wind, we filled up a 95 quart ice chest in about 1 hour. I just seriously doubted any boat traffic....lol.

You can kiss the bay good bye until November. Maybe if we don't get anymore major rain between now and then t bute and the pass will turn on.
