The area I call the rock pile is just outside the pass before you get to tee butte. Princess ditch is the first cut on the right in west cote blanche bay if your coming from the ivanhoe canal.

rock pile is a pile of rocks that kinda make a jetty if you will, running out vertically from the bank. Most of the time it is out of the water.

I didn't read the article but these spots are no secret...comparing it to a small lake is not the same at all.

So you think fishing with a rod n reel can delete a population of fish in an open bay and gulf system?

no, i think a person running their mouth off about a spot, or a article in a magazine doing the same thing, causes a mass rush of idiots to said spot and ruins it. seen it a bunch of times, fresh or salt water.

if you can't understand that, please post up your favorite spots on here so everybody can go catch a boatfull of fish. i mean, since it doesn't harm the fish population in a open bay and gulf system. lol

What other spots are mentioned in this article? The spots already mentioned are far from being a secret. Hell on google maps you can see 15 or so boats sitting on the rock pile. The vbay area is massive...like you said articles attract a crowd therefore keeping other spots not mentioned wide open.
