Default Question: atlas hydro jack plate on alweld marsh

is anyone running an alweld marsh (short shaft transom) with the atlas micro jacker mounted on a 6" jack plate? I want to add one to mine, my only concern is it looks like by adding it to my 6" manual plate it will now project out 10" and with the angle of the transom it seems the bottom of the atlas will be very close to the bottom of my boat. looks like it may cause some issues. wondering if anyone has this setup.
