have you ever tried making the ones that are square made from pvc. Put a weight on it and it unrolls as needed for the depth of water and then it is anchored so you do not have to look everywhere for them? I make my own and fish the Mississippi river with them. I like them because you can fish exactly where you want them at.

yes I will give me a day or two I am a pilot and off flying right now but will b back in a day or two. It is basically a square pvc noodle. About 6 inches wide and 14 inches long. The 14 inch side put the foam noodles on those two sides. Just adds a little more floatation. Tie a string to one of the six inch sides and roll it up around and around. Just make sure you have plenty of string so it will touch bottom. I use 80 feet I fish in the Mississippi river so need a lot. it will unroll and touch the bottom with the weight. IF the water is just 20 feet deep it will unroll only to that depth and stop. I will get a picture of this tomorrow and it will help you see what I am talking about..

Really like because you don't have to chase them around. Make sure you have plenty of string on it because it well sink and you will not find it ever again. They make jumbo noodles I like them u can see them on the water better.

The 4" noodles? Also, are you using window sash weights?

That's a hell of a noodle. All I do is cut a 12" piece of noodle and put a string through it. Replace every 2 years never had a issue
