Brew Big lake meat haul !!!!

Had an awesome trip out to big lake yesterday (10-12-09). Winds were 5-10 coming out of the East yesterday causing a 1-2' chop. First stop produced 4 nice trout. Then it was like a frigging light switch that turned on the birds when the wind died down to nothing. Water slick calm and water cleared up to about 8-12" vis. We chased birds from about 7:30 til lunch time. I know I might be a "potlicker" but at least I caught fish !!!! Had a 3-man limit of trout (45) by lunch time. It was goofing off and running from storms after that. I caught my 15 trout with the Bomber Badonk-A-Donks, which seemed to be catching all the nicer size trout. Also caught a few to help my dad and my friend finish off their limits All trout ranged from 13" with the biggest one going 20 & 3/4" (mine). Ended the day with 83 fish total. 45 specks 1---26"red (mine) 2--black drums 2 croakers and 33 white trout....ohh and one huge AZZ sting ray... that thing was 30+ # on 12 # test.. a 20+ minute fight... all in all a good day !!!
