Default North La WMA's

anybody know of any WMA's where i can go shoot some ducks at....??? i usually like to make a few trips to new places and im going to stuttgart arkansas during christmas again...but i was looking for something up in north La to hunt...maybe if anybody had any info on Russel Sage WMA or maybe Three Rivers Or Loggy Bayou Or Bodcau Wma's it would be extremely helpful..it dont even have to be north La...im just gonna be bored this week and wanna try something new..the lease is getting old...

North LA is my hood....you can do good at Oua****a and really good if you have a boat. Also i hear good things about Russel Sage but i dont have a boat so ive never hunted there

that sounds cool fool..but im looking for some timber or fields to hunt...all i hunt is marsh thats y i gotta venture around every year..

you dont need a boat its helpful though there is a certian tree line and field where they slaughter ducks every time im out there but i can never get there. a four wheeler is nice too you can get to more good spots. there are some good walk in spots on a bean field but it is a little hike down the levees.

so meaux fishin...the bean field is just in the WMA??...you know of anybody i can call to get info about it??...like a WMA office or something??

so wat you do u go out there on the edge of this bean field and set up a blind or watever??...do you walk to it?? or can you boat to it?? im leaving wednesdays wit a couple podnuhs so it'll be nice to know...

I do not believe you can hunt it after Wednesday this week. It is either sex weekend on the WMA and duck hunting is not allowed on either sex weekends. We will be there deer hunting and I asked the same question and was told duck hunting is off limits on either sex weekend.

I just re-read it and Oua****a is a exception to the rule it alon with a few others are open this weekend. The area in Oua****a it said was open is Pintail Alley which I am not familiar with.

yep u are correct ragin...i just called back and thats wat they told me...the Russell Sage WMA is closed up for friday saturday and sunday but you can still hunt oua****a
