Default Chicot Fish

I pulled the camper and boat up here in Chicot State Park and been doing a lil fishing with the wife and kids... Been cathing 1 fish a day.. Pretty water and pretty weather... Tried everything from jigs with Uncle Joes pig fat to flourescent yellow worms... I even seen a bass about 5 inches deep and dropped a watermellon red Senko with garlic spray on its head and touched his nose with it...LITTERALLY, and he just eased on about his buisness like he wasnt there... Thats all i needed to see... bout to go try the afternoon bite...

Anyone familiar with the lake that can give some advice on what the biting on?

Here are a few pics for yall.... pretty lake... WATCH THE WASP NESTS!!!
