Default March-Caney Lake

Well I didn't do too well today. Got here late but managed to get a tee tiny one on a spinner. Buddy from work got a couple nice ones on a wacky worm but they were almost all slot fish. We'll try again in the morning.

The deer lease I hunt in is right by caney and I've never fished it. Need to haul the boat up there one day.

I've never fished anywhere at any time that this bait won't catch fish. I usually prefer a watermelon red though.

I actually had no luck with a fluke, all the fish I've caught so far we're on 4" watermelon red lizards

I used to fish Caney a lot when I lived in Monroe. Trust me, watermelon seed is the ticket there.
