Default Fried alligator ???

I got me some gator and ima fry it up tomorrow...Just wondering how's yalls favorite way to do it?? What yall soak it in to get rid of the fishy taste?? What kinda recipe yall use to fry?? any help appreciated??

i soak in milk and then use a spicey fish fry to fry it in . Make sure and not let it get cold. it gets tough when cold.

butter milk, hotsauce, italian dressing for marinade. I batter in 2 parts flour to one part corn meal. Season your batter with black pepper, slap ya mama, and garlic powder. Just make sure you get all the fat off the meat.

If it has no fat on it, it will not taste bad.
Season well with Tony's, then roll in some yellow mustard with Tony's or your favorite brand of hot sauce in it. Shake in your favorite fish fry and fry till floating.

If it is wild gator, use a meat tenderizer machine on it, or pound with a meat tenderizer hammer. Wild caught gator can be tough.

yes, do not leave any fat or you will have to throw it all away. That junk taste gross.

Yes....if you don't cut the fat off it will taste terrible....I speak from experience..

Soak it in Italian Dressing with some Tony's for 24hrs.

Fry in hot peanut oil, in regular fish batter.

Salt and Pepper right out of the fryer and squeeze fresh lemon on it...

mustard kills the fishy taste and for seasoning take the drive to scott,la and go to best stop and get some of their seasoning its the best, tonys has to much salt, and slap ur mama its ok just dont get the creole one its nasty
