Default Sweetlake 1-6-13

Had Jordan in the blind today with me and BigChaf. Hunted late trying to get some specks but ended up being more of a duck shoot. Ended with a good pile of mallards, a pintail, a couple mottles, and a Canadian. Was a very enjoyable morning. We almost can't take another rain storm or the blind might be under water!

We caught a lot of water. If you cut a trench in the levee, gravity will take care of the rest

We had 4 land in the field flying with 2 specks. Specks landed a little far out but the canadians landed closer all in a tight group. We all unloaded at the count of 3, not sure why we only got 1. Had a second but flew off as I was going to get him.

Nice Pookie! If my dog is with me, I can't leave my birds out. Gotta use an ice chest or something. He will eat them. The whole duck too. Head, bill, wings, and feet.
