Default Go devil work

My go devil surface drive engine with mikuni carb and a few other upgrades has been acting up.
Anyone know someone around Baton Rouge, New Orleans, or Houma that work on them?

I think it's carb issues, it's burning a lot of gas and spitting/sputtering/backfiring

Thanks

That carb is super simple to work on!
Remove the carb, then the bowl, and take out the two brass jets (pilot&main)
Get a set of welding tip cleaners and find the one that fits the two jets the best and pass it through both a few times to make sure nothing is in either!
Then spray some carb cleaner in both, and blow out with air, and reinstall!
Sounds like you have a little build up in the main jet! Good luck
