I'll bet a bunch of teal moved out with this cold front....Of course a bunch more probably moved in.

I drove by a few rice fields yesterday and it was unbelievable. Never seen that many teal in one area like that.

Teal did not go anywhere. I saw double the amount of birds after the front.

I agree, I think there are more. Usually I would be concerned that cooler weather would push the birds out, but with so little food and habitat between Canada and here I would imagine those birds are worn out and need to fatten up as much as possible before going south of the border. Just a theory, but it makes sense to me.
