Default State blocked trails to beaches

And put up signs saying no unauthorized vehicles on the beach.
Signs start at the West end of Holly Beach and go to Lil Fla.
Didn't go any farther than that.
They also dumped a bunch of what looked like old storm debris from the beach into the trails going to the beaches.

Notice the new sign behind the debris.

It is mostly dirt with seaweed mixed in.

I did see one trail still open farther East.

The signs are at Lil Fla. also.

I believe they can but you can't tell with all of the goofy signs. One says no ATV's beyond this point but there are cars and trucks beyond the sign.
The place in the pic has a sign stating no motorized vehicles past sign but when GOTTOGO and I fished it, there was a guy in a Jeep drive past it and park on beach to fish. Probably a matter of time before they close the entire beach to traffic like Fourchon.

All the trash and the idiots in 4 wd's is why they closed the beach in Fourchon. I hated to see people leave all the trash when they left their campsite. It looks like another case of that in Holly Beach. It's a hot topic in some areas of Texas, too. I want to be able to keep my beach access so I can let my kids experience what I was able to. It's a shame how people treat the outdoors. No respect at all.

There is plenty of parking along Hwy 82. On both sides of the road.

You can still drive on Holly Beach.

We saw those signs a few weeks ago and parked our vehicles right there, but several others drove through. There was a huge turtle by the sign closer to Holly Beach. I can't figure out why only parts of the beach is closed.

Biologist have been on the beach everytime I have been down this summer, One HOT and One Not. They are doing sometype of study and I bet this is the reason access has been blocked.

Access was still pretty easy the other day when I went with Mr. Paul. You just had to get over the sand barriers. Had we had a chest full of fish, it may have been a little different story. Still worth the ride though, IMO.
