Yep with a small surface drive, man that would be fun.

that's an LA 1 marsh special right there, launches from back of truck into any puddle of water

ANY IDEA ON PRICE?

For the price you can find a much more suitable boat to use....a gheenoe would be a hell of a lot cheaper and go just as many places with more options on power. It's a great little craft but a very small niche market. Perfect for florida with the sandy bottoms and maybe even texas. I'd hate to go over in the marsh here.

Keaker if I remember the price was somewhere around the 2000$ range just the hull. Also look into the Pelican Ambush ( i think they sold the mold/discontinued it)

I actually build a skiff extremely similar to the ambush to hunt with...that thing got skinny.

"The composite version of the Solo Skiff is $ 3,200. This includes the hull rigged with the rod tube, hatch, grab rail, and the hatch pull or latch. The Roto molded version is 1,650. The rotomolded version has same features but has 2 rod tubes and the additional built in cooler and front deck access ability. Please contact us for more information, and ordering."

I could definitely fish out of this, but for the price and a motor, I could get something that can take me out further and hold one more passenger

Ohh yea very smooth and dry, but you gotta buy AF Model.

The AF models come with 16" of adjustable freeboard to raise when needed.

that pelican is more setup the way i would like then the soloskiff, i would be looking for super light super shallow craft to launch out of a pickup bed and throw a trolling motor on it and have the ice chest be my seat, so something looking like an extra wide surfboard but with a transom and a few inches of side hull is my idea of perfect.

i cant use a kayak (for back reasons) so having something for enclosed marsh ponds and side of the road fishing adventures is what i have in mind

Pack and Paddle in Lafayette had one of these awhile back. Not sure if it's still there.

I was bored and went to check them out a few months ago. They quit carrying them and Gheenoes because of some licensing fees between them and Florida.
