never been yet, do they allow fishing on any part of the jetti? is crabbing good there too?

They have a pier on the east side that you can fish from.....

If you pay for admission to the pier, you can walk out on the rocks of the E Jetty.

There is usually too much current in the ship channel for crabbing.

There are also places you can pull off along Davis Road and fish the E side of the channel.

I think most of the land along the channel on the W side is private, so access to the channel, rocks, and jetties is tricky on foot or by car.
