I ran out of breading one day, and made up this concoction.

Unflavored cherrios (crushed)
flipits, half pretzel half cracker, crushed
garlic powder
parmesean cheese.

dipped in flour, then egg, then concoction. Fried in butter and man was it good!!

Crushed cracker crumbs or crushed Corn Flakes work good too.
I use Corn Flakes a lot in stuffing for baked or broiled fish.
