I visited several wineries in Georgia last week. One of the employees makes wine as a hobby. He said there is a book called from the Vine to the Wine and it tells you everything from growing grapes to making wine. Not sure of the exact name of the book since I was listening to another persons conversation and sampling wine at the same time. Hope this helps.

my dads folks made wine and my moms folks made brandy they had a huge still in the basement

Gerald that looks like the start of a nice batch! I am tempted to start a batch of Strawberry but have to leave for work in 10 days. Not enough time to do my first ferment before I have to leave. If they are still going when I get back I will do a batch of Strawberry too.
