Default Where did the signs go???

There were a row of signs outside the delcambre canal that marked an underwater rock jetty. made a pass through there yesterday and they are all gone.

Anyone know when they were taken out?

you can see a sign in the picture below.

The current administration has expanded it's "silent steel" program and began taking out all jetties.

I noticed that the other day.... Made a run that way from the rash pile and when I got there I knew it looked way different. Kinda made me nervous running in that area.

yeah, on a low tide the motor would hit the jetty but i have seen many people fly over it on plane. next time im in the area im going to chart and waypoint it.

I fished the beginning with a bottom rig and could feel the rocks.

i like that jchief and thought the same thing. add jetty to help with erosion. ends up attracting fish which was not part of the plan so they take it out...
