Default Big Lake Tides?

I usually go buy the stage at lighthouse wharf. But it never seems to be accurate. Now i know if im fishing 11 miles north of the tide station it will be different, but how much different will it be. For example this past weekend the tide was supposed to fall all afternoon, but i fished a incoming tide till around 4 both days. Which station do you guys go buy?
The East Jetty station and Light house wharf are pretty close together. Wish there was a station around mid lake. Would probably be easier to follow.

pressure systems and winds can cause tide charts to be inaccurate...

20 mph south winds were keeping the tide up this weekend
