Default Lake P 11/3/14

It's been a long wait for them to show at causeway, and the wait is over me and buddy put quick work for our 50 this morning. All fish where caught on 3/8 oz lead heads with any plastic you wanted to throw.

LP when the fish start biting at the bridges the bite is usually done at the pass, just how it has worked for the last 4 or 5 years.

I thought I was the only one on this forum to fish lake p. Good to know they are finally starting to move in. I fished the bridge weekend before last and struck out.

I store my boat at Seabrook Harbor, so I fish Lake P, Bayou B, Lake Borgne, etc. Always happy to get or give info.

How much is it to store your boat there?

Depends on the size of the boat, but around $200 a month. No extra charge for putting your boat in and out of the water.

Anyone fishing Lake P tomorrow morning? Got some good reports that limits are being caught at the causeway and the fish balls in Orleans.

I have room for one, if anyone would like to go.

Gonna put in at lakefront drive around 0530, and fish till about noon or hit my limit :-)

PM me if you want to go?

The trout have been on for a while now. Now the word is out. You should have plenty of company on the water.

That is what I am afraid of... gonna try the fish balls nearest the causeway first, hoping that not as many have the coordinates for them and the fish bite better.

Fished Bayou Bienvenue yesterday (11/11). Caught mostly trout and a couple of reds. Plastic seemed to work just as good as live shrimp, and caught the bigger trout.
