Default BL fishing Saturday

Here's a pic of my sister-in-laws first red experience. It's a 26" and she had a blast!

That first picture says it all, that could be the only fish she caught that day and she would have still had a blast I bet.

Thanks guys. She did have fun. We ended up with 25 specs, 6 reds and 8 flounder. A pretty good weekend and for their first trip, they really had fun. I'm glad I could put them on some action. I plan to get them back in October when the reds are really on fire and some flounder action too. We caught most of our trout south of the pogie plant on the west bank. I'm sure most of you know the spot. We did pretty well on the south end of Turner's Bay right by the little round island on the southwest corner. Live shrimp and pearl white gulp shrimp did the trick.

Default nice job

I love seeing people's facial expressions when they catch their first big red. I have a pic similar to that one of my wife.

Thanks for the report.

She has no idea. She put it on facebook though, so I don't think she'd mind.

That's exactly what I thought when I first saw it. I think we'll frame both of them for her.
