Default What's your favorite color matrix Shad?

I am about to place a bulk order for jig heads and soft plastics from their site. Any favorites to recommend? I don't change colors all day long while fishing so about four of the best will be plenty.

I fish a lot of stained water so I end up using midnight mullet a lot. Avocado too. I also carry shrimp creole, green hornet, and tiger bait.

I fished with Capt. Marty down around Cocodrie about 3 times over the last 3 or 4 years. He puts us on the trout every time and its always tandem avacodo matrix shad. The 1 exception was when we caught a few really nice trout on a beach on a swim bait that he had, I wish I could remember the name b/c we caught some big ones on those. He said cast it out and let it sit I the bottom and they were nailing it.

When shrimp is the trout's choice of bait shrimp creole no doubt, other good colors over here on the east side is lemonhead in dirty water and avocado for outside trout in the sound.

Tiger Bait. That has been an awesome one for me, especially in overcast or murky water conditions. Nighttruse and Purple Haze in the Vortex and Tiger Bait and Magento Matrix shad or my best.

Blazin Hornet and Kamikaze or Purple Haze. I have several other colors but those are my favorites. I too, tend to keep the same baits on most of the day. I fished with my sister one day last fall and she caught fish but I caught more until she took off the gulp swimming minnow and put on one of my Blazin Hornets. The Vortex has more vibration, I like a contrasting tail color. Greg Hackney advises to change colors sometimes even when you are catching on that color. I will try another rod with a different color but I keep my primary color rigged up. Maybe that's why he is angler of the year and a classic winner.

Thanks! I like the fact that I can buy them in bulk and also large quantities of jig heads on the web site.

I like the Ultra Violet. Had some awesome success when live bait wouldn't work.
