Default 6-29 windy V-Bay trip

It was a rough one today fellows the wind was stiff early. Managed to only catch 3 reds under the popping cork. We fished until we got tired of fighting the wind.

Thought about hitting the bay but decided to try the Bertrand.Hit it hard and caught one 11 1/2 trout. There were whitecaps in there I could only imagine what the bay was like. Three Reds on a day like to day in the bay is an accomplishment.

We figured that we could have finished up our two man limit before the wind got too bad. But we were wrong. You are right shellman it doesn't take long for it too get rough.

Not bad considering the conditions. Other than being rough, how was the water?
