to specksndasurf i just did and good fishing report so far from him. but i wonder if the rocks in the water right past holly beach heading toward johnson bayou are producting specks or not. cux i did well catching some specks there last year during the summer when it was hot as hell but i was out there before sunrise and did well until around 10 it shut off like a light switch due to the low tide as the water was moving out. and u cud walk so close to the rocks but it was only like 2 foot or so.

thats where i caught my limit saturday... where the rocks get closest to the road.. water was way high my head was barely above the water when i got to the rocks...

tried there sunday only landed one fish

to armand16 yea i kno where u talking abt and do u kno there was a forklift sunk in the sand in the water abt like 100 yards out i dont kno if its still there but it was from hurricane rita and man talk abt some good fishing spot around tha forklift sunk into the sand in the water and its in between the two piling of rocks.

Made it to Mae's yesterday evening. The water was really nice, clearish and not a lick of weeds. Picked up four specks, one red and a galf top for the cherry on top. Caught on top water and corkies.

Yeah the specks i beached were nice size. At one point I guess I got into a school of small ones, they must have hit my top dog 20 times but couldn't get hooked. Still fun
