Default Take Your Son Fishing Day

I had the pleasure again to take my youngest son Hunter fishing on Friday. Me and Hunters good friend Kalon came with us again. We went out to go fish this new pond for Red fish that I found on a prior trip. We started the day out cool with cloud skies and the wind blowing out of the NE at 15 or more. The water was really dirty. This made our day rough to start. We brought some live minnows with us and our 2 tons of baits between to two of us. It took us most of the day but we caught our fish. Ended up with 12 reds, tagged and released 3 or 4 and had 12 or more that were too small. With all the baits we had between the two of us, everything we caught was on Black and Chartreuse Vortex Shad and on live minnows. Any day on the water with your son and a good friend is a great day.

By keeping them on water and the outdoors. It keeps them out of most trouble.
