Default Pitchers Mound

My buddy Cripley gave me a call the other day complaining about he wanted to buy his son a pitchers mound for his 15th birthday but they were $700-$2000. I told him I thought it would be pretty easy to build so I did some research to told him what to buy. He brought over the materials and 2 hours later we have a regulation height pitchers mound for $145! That's awesome. If you don't mind, where did you get the specs for the mound. I have a cousin that would probably be interested in building one.

Of course I don't mind. I used the link below and he said he didn't know what to cover it with so I just read on some other sites to use 3M high strength glue (contact cement or two part epoxy would work as well) with the turf.

Really was very simple.

They have one very similar to this that comes in two pieces and is portable. I think I paid $200 for mine delivered.
