Brew New hobby for me - Homebrewing

I just started getting my feet wet in homebrewing beer, and building a brewing rig for the house. Here's my first beer that's ready to drink.

American wheat.

Any other SC homebrewers out there?

Looks nice.

I don't like beer enough to do it myself, but I would drink that one.

I was surprised with how well it turned out, especially for my first one. It's not a light beer, that's for sure. It packs a little punch too at 6.5% alcohol. I'll definitely be making this one again.

The next recipe I have on my list to try is one called Devil May Cry. Hopefully I can get this one right. It's estimated abv is 12%.

Back when I was a kid my father and grand father brewed their own beer. later I brewed like 10 cases a year for a few years and I have friends and cousins who still brew. You cna make some pretty good beers. If I can offer a personal openion keep it simple its very easy to get carried away and make all kind of fancy flavors and such that are barely still beer.

Years back, I brewed up a few patches.

Some were bad...... some good. I had trouble getting the yeast to work correctly. I think it was my last batch that "bubbled" really well and stunk up the house for a few days. Good thing I was single at the time.

I must say, there's a lot that goes into making something that seems as simple as beer.

Some of these other guys out there are way over the top, though. I don't see myself getting to that level, but who knows how things will progress. Some of these brewing rigs are impressive though!
