Well after having a crappy trip on Sunday when I had guest in from out of town I had to go redeem myself yesterday afternoon. Sunday we never could find any decent trout. Caught about 30 but only 6 keepers which I thought was strange for May.

Yesterday left out of Devil's Elbow and with 3 little storms around us. Thought I could run south since my radar showed them going north. Well got to about mid lake and noticed all 3 storms merging. The water was the best I had seen it all year before storm. When you hear static electricity over the top of you it's time to roll. We ran through rain and luckily got to Heberts before all hell broke loose. Sat at at my buddies camp and watched it dump for an hour and half, but after that it was on. We got on several schools of nice females busting all bait and caught our 30 in about an hour. Most fish 2 to 3 lbs caught on Lil Johns and sparkle beetles. Man I love fishing during the week.

Sorry thought I attached. No pics or it didn't happen comments?

I have seen them feed on bait like this before a storm and at night, but guess they gorge themselves after a big storm as well.
