Do they still plan on making the launch 4 wide? Someone had mentioned that originally. I just can't see it.

That would be bad with the "current" space

Why were they even messing with the launch? The concrete seemed to be in good shape.

Drove my the landing Sunday afternoon. They had half the concrete down and covered. It looks like they might pushed the parking toward the water some to get it away from trucks trying to launch.

Ya Sorry Marty sometimes typing on the iphone isn't the best bet.

So before the rebuild there were some parking spots to the left of the launch. These spots were between the new bathroom and the left side of the launch. It made turning around to backup your boat a bear sometimes. It looked like from what I saw that they might have pushed those parking spots further toward the water and away from the turn around area for boat launching. I might have been an optical illusion though. Any chance you can get a picture of it from inside the fence? Maybe up on the shop deck? That sure would be nice.

Oh I agree on moving those parking spots, Ive got a 23ft boat and a 4 door f350 long bed, so turning around to get lined up can be tight some times.

Called Facilities Management (721-3540) last week. They still do not have a date set to open. They are guessing late March early April.
