Default Two GPS/Sonar Units with one transducer??

Does anyone know if this is possible? I have a Garmin Echomap 50s and my new boat came with a 70s and shoot thru hull transducer. My 50s has a transom mount transducer but I'd prefer not to have to install it and just connect the two units in my console. Any insight would be appreciated.

You need to network the two units. Once they are on the same network they should be able to be configured to both use the same transducer.
