Default Unidentified Duck

Hey guys, we saw this bird on the water yesterday, and can't figure out what it is. The picture is alittle grainy because all I had was a point and shoot (wish I would have had my DSLR ). Hoping someone can tell me what this thing is. It was diving alot, and the only thing that seems to match the scrip is either a horned or eared grebe.

Cool, yep now that I look at it, it does look like a ruddy duck. Had alot of trouble with this guy, cause I've never seen a ruddy before, but it makes sense. There was about 8 or 10 in the area at the time, and at first look we thought they were just pied-bill grebes, so the size matches.

I know one thing there's 2 ducks that can come into my decoys and won't get a gun pointed at them a hooded merganser and a ruddy duck. A ruddy duck talk about hard to pluck!
