You just wear regular hunting boats with them? How do they hold up to branches and such?

I have a pair of the cabelas dry plus breathables...they are held together with shoe goo and rubber parts....lol they do not leak but geezz they last one season. Now as far as comfort...they are awesome like a pair of sweatpants.

I purchased the cabelas warrior which are half neoprene and the dry plus material...they lasted all last season so no complaints....caught'em on sale.

Just get a gatortrax with a pop up blind then you won't need any waders!

I wear wading boots, the neoprene/rubber zip up type. And I'm a marsh hunter mainly so sticks aren't to big of an issue. I wouldn't recommend em for hunting in the woods

I just wear wading boots with rubber soles. Look like hiking boots. This is an example

I went with the Lacrosse Alpha Swampfox's. Came in the evening and tried em on in the house. Very comfortable, but the accessories like the pockets, shoulder strap snaps, and velcro feel cheap. Boot size was pretty spot on. I'm ready to baptize em on the 15th!

Cabela's or Simms. Why wouldn't you buy a pair with lifetime warranty. I am on my 4th pair of Cabela's Dry Plus. I treat them like crap. And send them back after the season and get a brand new pair. Doesn't get any better than that. ALL cabela's brand footwear is lifetime warranty.

Sooooo are u saying they leak every year? If that's the case I would rather not go through the hassle of leaky waders every season.

This tends to cause retailers to modify their return policy eventually because they can't loose money forevah. SIMMS does have a lifetyme warranty but there are exclusions in the fine print. I have had great customer service from SIMMS and want it to be around when there is really a problem.

What do you do for a livin RBF?

That lifetime warranty isn't bulletproof, and as already stated, taking advantage of it does get passed on to the consumer eventually.
