Default BL friday advice for a weekender.

I'm coming in this weekend to squeeze out a Friday trip and then do some camp work on Saturday. In looking at both the mid lake and Calcasieu stations it seems that, surprise surprise, the salinity at midlake is down below 4 ppt. Would it be safe to say our best bet for possible trout action would be making the run down to the south possibly to the cove? water temps seem to have kept an upward trend which is good but with the rain the salinity is blah.

Any local advice would be appreciated.

Haven't been, but heard turners Bay Area is nasty. Based on salinity numbers, I'd definitely fish midlake to the cove. But you never know, til you geaux.
