Default 23 Green Trout

Had a slow day at work, got all my work done early so me and two buddies headed out to try and catch supper. We hit up a couple of ponds at another co workers place and did pretty good. All together we ended up with 23 bass with one pretty nice one. Most caught on spook jr's and a few caught on rattle traps.

Damn! That looks like alot of fun. I would've put the beast back tho. Always fun to have the stud swimming around a small pond for future trips. To each his own tho! Nice mess of fish and pumped to see y'all tear them up! Great way to kick off the week!

That is quite the table of bass. I bet it was a lot of fun slaying them like that.

I didn't catch the big one but tried telling my buddy to put it back. It is a huge pond and the owner said it is load with much bigger bass than that one. It's about 10 acres. They ride jet skis in the summer time in there!!

Brought it to a local taxidermist and it went exactly 5 1/2.

Sounds like a great place to fish. We have a 10 acre pond in Ville Platte that holds a few 8+ lbs. They're a blast to catch.

The way some people up here make their ponds is they damn off an old creek bottom that is spring fed and it fills itself up naturally. So they have some huge ponds up here and the water stays crystal clear and has tons of structure in them.
