Another Day in the Books

Yet another terrific day of trout fishing is now behind me as the bite in South Central Louisiana remains strong. It was a one stop shop today setting the Motor Guide Xi5 and forgetting it. I had some veteran fisherman and women on board today and it was all I could do to keep up with unhooking and changing plastics. Fish were coming in from every direction and every one of them were chunks. I think we threw back 2 fish all day. Single and double rigged both worked great with pearl melon Reflexion Swimbaits and ultraviolet Matrix. My customers Liz, Billy, and Paris (12 yrs young) had the time of their lives ripping lips off the yellow mouths! It was hot action today with not more than 10 minutes without a bite. We left them biting around 10:00 and headed north and the gang had over a 5 gallon bucket full of filets to take home. It just doesn't get much better than that folks! A great time was had by all!
