Default Big lake

Heading down to big lake at the end of the week for the first trip of the year. Does anyone know if the water on the South end and the beach area is clean right now. Thinking about trying this area first. I was thinking about trying to carolina rig some cocahoes near the beach. Any advice on what part of the lake has been the most consistent would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Friday.....the south end had ~6" visiability.

The water at Jetties and the beach depend on the wind direction......South usually means muddy. North + maybe ok.

Shrimp boats tend to keep the water a little muddy.

We are going Thursday and it looks like the winds "should" be 8 mph out of the south west. Has anyone fished the beaches lately?

Thanks fellas. I have oly fished here one time. I typically fish Grand Isle and Cocodrie but I have the day off tomorrow and wanted to fish something a little closer to the house so chose to try Big Lake. We will se what the day brings and hopefully land a few.
