Couldn't ask for better weather report!

From NOAA:
Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 67. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 92. South wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Low 71

SSE winds at 5 mph

Can you imagine the pot licking and the pot licking stories that are gonna tke place this weekend on Big Lake...THANK GOD im smart enough not to go. I might show up at the bank with a beer and a smile but no way I wet a hook during this event....perfect setup for somebody to get shot.

potlickers are gunna be at the weirs trying for specs...and then turners bay is gunna be packed with everybody and their mom in it.

If I was forced to go fishing this weekend I think my best bet would be to slide into west cove on a few hot spots I know of that are not on most of the guides GPS's. Other than that I think I would have to stay in the channel tied up drowning shrimp and crabs and drinkin rocky mountain cool-aids while watchin all the idots fly back and forth potlickin like a bunch a biotches

the way i look at it, if we go out and have a good time, don't break anything or hurt anybody, i won....

it would be sweet to luck up and catch a big fish, with these conditions it's gonna take a trophy.

boy I know I had to go to LCT today and get a new trolling motor. Havent had to good of luck this week. keep my fingers crossed nothing else goes wrong.

all it will take is 5 lbs + if you keep it alive and take advantage of the live bonus! Never fails. Every year someone comes in with a dead 6 lber and gets beat by a 5 lber that was kept alive.

Make sure your livewells are working!!!
