Actually, I think toledo bend is terrible.
That place made me focus more on Calcasieu " Big Lake".
And glad i started fishing big lake, more fish and better action.

Default July 4th weekend

I fished the bend last weekend. The wind kept us shallow and in protected waters but we did pretty well. We threw hollow body frogs early and flipped brush after sun came up.

The sun must have been really bad bc in the pics it looks like yall were using ALOT of sunscreen causing your faces to look very white

Toledo was actually ranked #1 bass fishing lake in the country by bassmaster this year. Something like 80 fish over 10lbs caught and registered since January 2015. Pretty crazy
